Hey Everyone! Our February challenge is so beautiful! This month, I am inspired by the lovely flowers and thoughts of love. I had so much fun created this and we all look forward to hearing from you all. For my project this month, I made a mixed media canvas with a twist in adding flowers. To create this canvas, I used the Falling Heart Stencil with some texture paste to provide a textured background. I altered the Heart Flourish Corner Set, and the word "Art" from the Inspire Word Set using some embossing powder. Let's get to it!
1. The first step is to use your stencil with some texture paste
2. While that dries, emboss your chipboard embellishments
3. After the paste is dry, splatter it with some watered down black gesso
4. Paint your clay embellishments with black gesso and embellish them with some gold wax
5. Before adding all your pieces dab on black gesso to the edges of the whole canvas
6. Now the fun begins, adhere all your embellishments using your favorite adhesive.
7. Lastly, add your floral beads using the 3D matte gel
