"Be Risky" with Creative Embellishments

Hello friends! I'm back today with my latest Creative Embellishments project. Have you ever wondered what your next step is going to be when you are crafting? I felt this way when making this tag. I was feeling insecure and unsure as to how I wanted to move forward after painting the chipboard pieces. So, I went shopping in my craft room, took a few things, and came up with this design.

Product List

1. You'll want to begin by laying down a nice layer of black gesso over all the chipboard

2. While that dries, alter your chipboard layer and castings using acrylic paint and wax

*Hint: Using gold wax, I highlighted the background chipboard layer and the castings

3. Assemble your layout beginning with the chipboard layer, then add the wing castings

4. Adhere the curly flourish cuts to the top of the wing castings

5. Then on top of the curly cuts add a butterly and a flower

6. Begin your layering at the bottom of your tag starting with the flowers

7. Once the flowers down, add your casting and a chipboard quote

8. Splatter the entire surface with watered down white gesso

*Hint: This gives the piece some extra contrast and gives it a complete finished look

8. As the final touch, add a bow and tiny skulls
