Hello, my crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog. This month with the Creative Embellishments Blog I couldn't keep my mind on any one theme. I decided to go wild and free!! I am starting this month's inspiration with a floral layout using loads of chippys from the shop. I just love this picture of my eldest son! He looks so carefree and happy, doesn't he? Come along, let us get our craft on!

**Let's get to scrappin!**
1. Begin by adding a layer of clear gesso to your scrapbook paper
Hint: This will allow for the paper to withstand w/e you throw at it
2. Alter your chipboard pieces using embossing powders
3. Distress all the paper cut-outs using some distress ink
4. Mat your photograph using white cardstock and double-sided tape
5. Now splatter some watered down white gesso on the surface of your layout
*Hint: Do this before beginning your layering process
6. Start layering with the largest paper cut-out, then add the shutters and beaded ribbon
7. Place your photograph crooked over the shutters
8. Next add your flowers and other paper embellishments
9. Then add all your chipboard pieces one by one
10. Put down your scroll and chipboard quote
12. Finish off the layout with some pretty peal beads, tiny blue prills, and a bow
