*****Let's get started, shall we?*****

I also have a video tutorial for you available on my YouTube channel is you're interested https://youtu.be/eDMlvCOsxNQ

1. Start out by choosing the size of your card. I chose to slimline style.

2. Take an "8 1/2x"11 white piece of cardstock and cut it down to "8 1/2x"9 Fold it in half

3. Do the same with your designed paper as well but cut it to "8x"8 3/4

4. Use some double-sided tape to adhere them together

5. First, use some texture paste and a circle stencil to create a textured background

6. Next, do some random background stamping using a word stamp with distress ink

7. Now distress the edges with the same distress ink

8. Next cut out a circular shape using a die-cut and distress those edge

*Hint* I chose this distress color because it reminded me of a cake color from the inspiration photo

9. Use some cardboard packaging to prop up your die-cut image

10. Now it's time to put together our shaker piece using tacky glue and beads from your stash

11. Color the background of the cupcake using white gesso

12. Alter the front of the cupcake using two different colors of waxes by blending them

13. To finish your card, use liquid pearls, and Nuvo drops to finish embellishing it

*****Here are some close-ups for you to enjoy!!*****

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial with me today. Until we meet next time! Stay well and stay safe.
