Hey friends! Welcome back to my blog. Today I'd like to do something a bit different and out of my comfort zone. A 12x12 layout featuring loads of beautiful chippy's from the Creative Embellishments shop. So, come along let's shake our crafty tail feathers together!!
Product list
**Let's get feathering, shall we?!**
1. Black gesso the surfaces of all your chipboard pieces and castings
2. While those dry, cut out your paper feathers
3. With a paint dauber, distress the edges of your paper feathers and layout
*Hint: I use black gesso. This intensifies the overall distress look versus using inks
4. Next, dry brush on some white gesso over the chipboard feathers only
5. Assemble your shaker
6. Begin assembling by laying down your extra paper cutouts
*Hint: Mine is about 5 inches down
7. Then attach your paper, chipboard feathers, and arrow
8. Attach your shaker then assemble your flowers, wing castings, and stamen
9. For finishing touches, add some chipboard quotes
**Here are some close-ups for you to enjoy!!**
**Until next time, stay creative!**
