Hey you! Welcome back to my blog. I'm going to light the path as we move from one month to the next at the Creative Embellishments Blog. The moons really make me happy. As promised, I went light and frilly with this year's Halloween season. I hope you all have enjoyed them and are inspired to create something unique and festive.
Product list
Stars (Wood Veneers)
**Let your light shine down!**
1. You'll want to begin by painting the moons with acrylic paint
2. While that dries, alter your chipboard pieces using black gesso
3. After the gesso is completely dry, lay down the filigree *Hint: I cut these in random places to provide a background for the moons 4. Distress the edges of the moon with ink then blend it with your fingers
5. Next, lay down your first level of flowers
6. Add a second level of flowers
7. Use some mini spiders and add a tiny rhinestone to its back
*Hint: This dresses those spiders up nicely
8. Add some sparkle by using glitter glue and a mix of sequins
9. Then adhere the spiders randomly
10. For finishing touches, add wood veneer stars randomly
*Hint: These give the piece some extra contrast and a complete look
