I made this piece for Lindy's GangOctober challenge. Here is my creation after being inspired by such smooth colors. If you know me, then you know I love to up-cycle, and this piece is no different. DETAILS: I began by laying down my wooden sticks and then adding discarded tea 🍵 grinds for added texture. The natural color of the tea ended up making this project perfect for this challenge. Next, I painted my embellishments with LG sprays “Ramblin Rose Pink” “Flat Fabio Raspberry Lemonade” and “Cattail Copper Brown” To darken up the edges on my Stamperia heart mould (found at My Rusty Crown) and the wings I used Tim Holtz“Brushed Corduroy” Next, I lightly brushed on gesso to add attention to the focal point and sprayed a little Tim HoltzVintage Photo” before laying down my heart. I then used the same colors to spray the remaining parts of the canvas.
