"Protect Your Magic" A Creative Embellishments and Rinea Foiled Papers Collaboration

"Protect Your Magic" This month we are doing a collaboration with Rinea using their delicious foiled papers. I am inspired by the colors in the mood board along with the mystical nature of the "Aurora Borealis." The photo with the wings too inspired me and of course the beautiful floral dress. I decided it was high time to alter an old glass bottle. For the twist in our challenge this month, glitter, I used some color-changing beads that glisten in the light along with some glittery flowers. As most of you know, purple is my favorite color so creating this was a delight! I don't create with purple often enough.

Let's begin creating!

1. Begin by covering your bottle with heavy black gesso

2. Next cover the entire bottle with the mint green texture paste

3. Once the green paste is dry randomly use the lavender paste

4. While that is drying, emboss your wings using both powders

*Hint* Cover them initially with the purple then heat up random areas and sprinkle on the green

5. Now cover the fairy with green texture paste and distress it with the violet wax

6. Paint both the frame and mould with black gesso and distress them with the waxes

7. Get your foiled papers and cut them using a floral die-cut

*Hint* Place the die-cuts behind the frame adorning it

8. Place the wings down first then the mould and frame

9. Fill your mini glass bottle with glass beads and embossing powder. Distress the cork with wax

10. Set the fairy on top of the frame using some foam dots to balance her within the frame

11. To finish it up add the glass beads using matte gel to adhere them

12. Now distress the sentiment and adhere it with tacky glue
